Sthitiprajna Public Library was founded by well known social activists of Cuttack, a former freelance journalist and former lecture at Berhampur University, late Ramakanta Mishra. Our library is located at the heart of Bhubaneswar, the “Temple city” of Odisha. Our library is dedicated towards preserving and promoting the rich literary heritage of the Odia language. Whether you are a student or a researcher or a lover of Odia literature, our library offers a welcoming space for all filled with a vast collection of books across various genres.

The only group behind the Sthitiprajna Public Library & website is Shree Jagannath Education Trust, an academic trust interested in science, education and development. It consists of mostly volunteers who are interested in using their professional expertise for a broader public cause. Conceived around 2014, Shree Jagannath Education Trust evolved as a functional group during 2015. But in the year 2021 Sthitiprajna Public Library started its journey and as on date we have a collection of more than 5000 referral books of different fields in our library for public use. We may say "Nothing is pleasanter than exploring a library." "Our libraries store the energy that fuels the imagination.
